Who never heard anything from the woman band Vixen, is to blame yourself. Yes, yes, the a little disreputable name was already chosen by the ladies well. In any case they have for them stirred the whole rock scene up quite, Chrissy Steele, like also already Lita Ford, Lee Aaron, Chrissy Steele quite did before. Four extremely handsome Rockladies on the way to the glory. Who wouldn't get jealous there? Formed were Vixen of Jan Kuehnemund, the guitarist, in Minnesota and brought them with Janet Gardner on vocals, Share Pedersen on bass and Roxy Petrucci on drums to Los Angeles in the middle 80s. They became by their single „Edge of A Broken Heart“ and her randy video clip to this which was shown on MTV continually, quite famous. Some is the style perhaps to soft, however, the song is a typical ear worm. Gardner's smoky rock tubes is ringing at every song only in such a way and gives one of the songs' certain air. The other song who get also played often was „Cryin“. Here Janet's voice appears also very advantageously and makes the song a little softer again. I Want You To Rock Me“, „American Dream“, „Desperate“, „One Night Alone“, „Hell Raisers“, „Love Made Me“, „Waiting“, „Cruisin´“ and „Charmed Life“ are in the mid-speed and no bangers. The songs are slap-up but also somehow too simply for the singing. The girls simply knew to distaffs. Whether one, however, must include them in the rock collection is left to everybody itself.
