Vanity Ink - Vanity is a full time-time job

Cool, Vanity Ink sind wieder zurück und schieben uns ca. 10 Monate nach „Roadkill“ ihre nächste Scheibe unter. Wie die Band uns schon im Interview verriet singt mittlerweile ja eine andere Dame bei ihnen und die hört auf den Namen Annabella. Sie löst ihre Aufgabe hervorragend und lässt die alte Sängerin sofort vergessen. „Vanity is a full time-job“ ist eine gute 5-Song-EP geworden, welche sich an dem hohen Level des Erstlings messen lassen muss, doch die Band erklimmt diese Hürde mit Bravour und zeigt uns das die Line-Up-Änderung, kaum Auswirkung auf den Sound genommen hatte. Vanity Ink klingen immer noch genauso dreckig und cool wie vor gut einem Jahr. Sängerin Annabella klingt wie eine schmutzige Ausgabe von Janet Gardner (Remember- Die All-Girl-Band Vixen) und ist eine echter Gewinn. Alle 5 Songs rocken sich sofort in dein Herz und machen richtig Spaß zu hören. Ganz egal wie ihr es nennt, einfach guter Rock´n Roll kommt aus dem kalten Finnland und wieder beweisen Vanity Ink, das der Rock´n Roll in dem True-Metal-Verseuchten Land nicht tot ist. Daumen hoch für diese EP.

Cool, Vanity Ink are back and they give us some more tunes, just around 10 Months (or so) after the good „Roadkill“. Like the Band in the past interview told us, they have been a change behind the microphone. But believe me, if you hear Annabella sing, you will forget the other singer. What was her name??? “Vanity is a full-time job” is a fabulous 5-Track-EP, which can hold the high quality-level from the first CD. The Line-Up-Change has no bad influence to the sound of Vanity Ink, no; Annabella is more worth than gold. Her voice reminds me to a dirtier version of Janet Gardner (Do you remember the All-Girl Band Vixen??). Yes, the Inks are still dirty and cool, just like we love them last year. All 5 Songs are rocking straight into your heart and they bring a lot of fun to listen to them. Yes, Vanity Ink gives me the believe back that in Finnland, is Rock´n Roll still alive and not only True-Metal. Thumbs Up, for this great EP.
