Tattooed Millionaires - Demo

Eine recht kurze Angelegenheit ist das Demo der Tattooed Millionaires geworden, mit nur 4 Songs stellt sich die US-Band um Sänger/Frauenschwarm Johnny Jetson vor. Die Band habe ich Anfangs mit einiger Skepsis beäugt, denn die Leute waren mir irgendwie arg auf Optik fixiert. Doch der erste Song „Thinks are looking bad“ fegt mit High-Speed Rock´n Roll aus den Boxen und lässt keinen Zweifel aufkommen, das wir es hier mit einer amtlichen Band zu tun haben.

„There goes the Neighbourhood“ drosselt das Tempo und schwelgt in Erinnerungen an Bands wie T.Rex, Sweet oder alte Alice Cooper-Scheiben. Mir gefallen die Tattoed Millioniares irgendwie besser wenn sie Gas geben. Die Damen werden auf die Jungs schwer abfahren, so schauen alle irgendwie nach Glamrock-Pin-Ups aus, doch sie können rocken.

„French Kissing“ geht sofort ins Ohr und macht Hunger auf mehr. Beim letzten Song „Star sprangeld Hammer“ wird noch Mal der selbige rausgeholt und kreisen gelassen.

A real short impact is what the demo of the US-Band Tattooed Millionaires offer. Just 4 Songs, to introduce the new band around the Singer/beau Johnny Jetson. I was a bit sceptic about this band, it has seemed to me that the look and style is most important for this band. But the first Song “Thinks are looking bad” proves me wrong, with high-speed Rock´n Roll it came out of my speakers like a rocket. No doubt, this is a real professional band. The second tune “There goes the neighbourhood” is more midterm and reminds me on the good stuff like T. Rex, Sweet or the older Alice Cooper-Records. Okay, for me personally, I like the band on high speed more.

The ladies will love these boys, they all look like perfect Glamrock-Pin-Ups, but they rock.

“French kissing” catches the ear by the first time and makes you hungry for more. With the last song “Star sprangeld Hammer”, they bring out a real hammer and swing it.
