Steeler (D) - Undercover Animal

Die deutschen Metaller Steeler veröffentlichten 1988 ihre zweite und auch gleich letzte Scheibe „Undercover Animal“ nein es ist nicht die ehemalige Band von „Yngwie Malmsteen“ sondern die EX Band vom deutschen Gitarren Helden Axel Rudi Pell. „Undercover Animal“ ist ein solides Werk, knallige Hard Rock Songs gepaart mit ein paar schnelleren Nummern. Das Cover ziert ein blaues Manimal, sehr gut gemacht, gefällt mir sehr gut, es ist eigentlich schade das es die Band nicht mehr gibt, klar man hat nun "Axel Rudi Pell" aber „Steeler“ war irgendwie speziell. „Hunter or Hunted“ ist der Opener des Albums, tolle Gitarren und ein souveräner Refrain genau wie der Titeltrack. Am besten gefällt mir das coole „Realy on Rock“ ein Klassiker der nie bekannt wurde. "Axel Rudi Pell" Fans sollten sich dieses Album unbedingt kaufen, ein rundherum gutes Hard Rock Album.

"Undercover Animal" habe ich mir damals einfach des Covers wegen gekauft und Gott sei dank haut die Scheibe voll rein, coole Chöre, geile Gitarren und ein "Peter Burtz" in Höchstform Leute.
