Steel Dawn - Mirror Images

Deutschland hat doch so ihre ein oder andere gute Band hervorzuweisen. Steel Dawn möchte ich euch daher auch nicht vorenthalten. Ihr Debut-Album „Mirror Images“ wurde 1994 über das damalig bekannte Label Long Island Records herausgegeben. Über Long Island Records konnte man ja vieles sagen, wie die bringen ja eh nur Schrott heraus, aber die meisten CD´s waren jedoch auch irgendwie genial und ich finde dieses Album auf jeden Fall ernennenswert. Hier kommen Klänge wie bei Jaded Heart oder Bonfire auf. Der starke Opener „Dirty´n Rough“ lässt schon den Vorgeschmack auf die weiteren Songs erwarten. Ein richtige Leckerbissen! Eine sexy Frauenstimme frägt um Aufmerksamkeit und klangvoll kräftige Gitarren geben den Ton des Songes hier an. „Chained By Love“ und „Hold On To Your Heart“ erinnern hier stark an Michael Bormanns Stimme. Bei „Keep On Running“, „The End“, „The One Who Holds The Key“, „Dreams of Love“ bringen uns nichts neues in Sachen Melodikrock. Einfach geile Rocksongs, die richtig gut ins Ohr gehen. Die Balladen „Odrinary Child“, „Princess“ und „Run Away“ sind auch nicht schlecht und sicherlich Wert sie aufzuzählen. Fazit: Holen, Kaufen und sich pure 41Minuten geilen Sound reinziehen!

Germany has still their bands who are good from time to time. Steel Dawn is one of them and don´t want to withhold it to you. Their debut-album „Mirror Images“ was released in 1994 through the label Long Island Records at this time. About Long Island Records you could tell a lot, for example they bring out a lot of shit, but the most of the CD´s were great and i think this album is to know. Here you came of the sound from Jaded Heart or Bonfire again. The great Opener „Dirty´N Rough“ let the foretaste expect for the other songs. A great gem! A sexy woman voice afford you to attention and powerful stron guitars go through the song. „Chained By Love“ and „Hold On To Your Heart“ remains me a lot to Michael Bormanns voice. In „Keep On Running“, „The End“, „The One Who Holds The Key“, „Dreams of Love“ don´t bring really some new songs of melodicrock. Just great Rocksongs, who goes in the ears. The ballads „Ordinary Child“, „Princess“ and „Run Away“ are like every rockballads and worth to mention it. What to say more: Go , Bye it and you will be sure to get pure 41minutes of great sound to listen!
