English Version
Southgang was a band with 2 outputs in the early 90's. The second, unfortunately underrated album "Group Therapy" includes a lot of highlights. Instantly the opener "White trash with cash" really rocks, followed by the hit-suspicious "Water under the bridge". Both Songs includes outstanding guitarriffs, beautiful solis and this two songs hits you like a hurricane. The 3. Song "Tug of war" begins slower and changes thereafter into a fast, rhytmic main part. With "Fire in your body" follows the next great song. The Ballade "final resting place" is thereafter a very quiet song, which inspires you to think about the life. The album contains more excellent numbers. For example "Culture clash city" or "Misery" are very pleasent songs. Another highlight is the 8. Song "The call". A very nice song with a slow beginning that becomes more and more rocking to the refrain. The last song is an instrumentaltrack and I really could live without it. Entirely seen a outstanding album that is recommendable to every hard rock fan around the world. Begun with Jesse's singing, to the guitar, bass and drums is this a successful album from the boys of Rome, Georgia. Unfortunately the band broke up after this album, respectively they made a new band without Jesse that called “The Marvelous 3”, but this wasn’t really a hard rock band and I didn’t liked it.
