Soldier of Fortune come from the far east of OKAYAMA Japan .A band that might capture your imagination coming from Japan. You would think what these guys could sound like. Do they sing in Japanese NO.? Do they sound like Loudness or EZO (YES) with Dokken mixed in. SOF put the pedal to the metal on this CD. Good production, quality music and vocals. This is their debut CD and I can see more coming from this band in the future. Fighting to Survive start things of with ear busting metal that melt your headphones. Has a feeling of Dokken with overtones of Loudness. When you hit track three and four. SOF tune things down a little. Front Seat Man Reminds me of new Alice Cooper. SOF can change things up. There is not one song that you would think is the same band .Track five Crazy sounding like Leslie West (Mountain). A band that is versatile like SOF is unique and there is not many out there .They must be influenced by 80's music. You get 12 tracks of an array of music from heavy metal, glam, melodic and AOR music. New Days is a Killer song Excellent.
