Shotgun Messiah - Same

Das ist definitiv das Ultimate Hair und Glam- Image! Schon allein die ungewöhnlichen Namen wie Zinny J.Zan (Sänger), Harry K.Cody (Gitarre), Tim Tim (Bass) und Stixx (Schlagzeug) lassen einen aufhorchen....Diese Jungs sehen optisch auch nicht schlecht aus, jedenfalls passt es hervorragend in die Glammy-Ecke also ein Original! Wie auch immer, sie klingen entsprechend ihrem Outfit. Wer schon einmal das Video ihres sogenannten Hammersongs „Shout it Out“ gesehen hat erinnert sich gerne mal an Tigertailz „Love Bomb Babe“ oder auch Pretty Boy Floyds „Rock & Roll (Is Gonna Set The Night On Fire)“ und wird auch sicherlich mit diesem Album nicht enttäuscht werden. Von vorne bis hinten eingängige schöne Melodien mit pfiffigen hieben und Riffs und einer Menge Spass. Es kommen dir kalifornische Hairbands in den Sinn wie L.A.Guns, Poison oder auch Autograph – trotzdem übernehmen Shotgun Messiah eine härtere Spitze ein. Die Jungs haben einfach Talent. Ein Killer Riff läuft an bei „Bob City“ und durchgehend solide und energiegeladene songs füllen „Don´t Care ´Bout Nothin´“, „I´m Your Love“ und „Nervous“. Bei dem Song „Squeezin´Teazin“ kommt schon mehr Partystimmung auf und die etwas angehauchte Ballade „Nowhere Fast“ ist auch nicht von schlechten Eltern, obwohl noch viel zu schnell für eine Ballade, jedoch schön anzuhören. Dies ist eine andere großartige CD, die man jederzeit auch in den CD-Player schmeißen kann und nicht nur für bestimmte Samstag-Nacht-Abende. Ein guter Tip von mir!

That´s the ultimate hair/glam image! Even the unusual names like Zinny J.Zan (voice), Harry K.Cody (guitar), Tim Tim (bass) and Stixx (Drums) let you prick up the ears....the guys looks not bad, at least it fits excellently in the Glammy corner that is one original! They sound how according to their outfit. Who see the video to their so called hammersong „Shout it Out“ remember a lot to Tigertailz „Love bomb babe“ or even to Pretty Boy Floyds „Rock & Roll (Is Gonna set the night on Fire)“ and be sure you won´t be disappointed with that album. From the beginning till the end very beautiful melodies with smart beats and reef and a lot of fun. Hair/Cali groups such as L.A. Guns, Poison, and Autograph come into your mind--though Shotgun bears a heavier edge in most places. That guys have talent. A killer riff-run kicks off "Bop City," and solid and energetic fare fills "Don't Care 'Bout Nothin'," "I'm Your Love," and "Nervous." "Squeezin' Teazin'" brings more party pomp and attitude and the ballad „Nowhere Fast“ isn´t bad at all, even if it´s still a bit harder as a ballad but nice to listen. This is another great disc to throw in the five-disc changer for those Saturday nights. A dead Cert!
