Runarounds - Easy Action

Diese Band gibt es nun ja nicht mehr, man hat es auf eine CD und auf einige Singles und Samplerbeiträge gebracht. Irgendwie Schade, das es die Runarounds nicht mehr gibt, aber aus deren Asche haben sich ja unsere Ironhead erhoben. Runarounds war sozusagen die Vorgänger-Band von Ironhead, allerdings ist hier nur noch Sänger/Gitarrist Johnny Sonic der den Faden zu Virginias Finest spannt.

So arg große Unterschiede sehe ich zu den beiden Bands auch nicht, liegt wohl daran das Johnny Sonic in beiden Fällen der Hauptsongwriter war. Seine Stimme klingt hier noch ein wenig assiger als bei den formidablen Ironhead. Bei den Runarounds regiert der alte 70ziger Punk doch noch ein wenig mehr als heute. Hier gibt es wie gehabt ordentlich was auf die Mütze und man könnt dem Zuhörer kaum eine Pause, da manche Songs ineinander laufen bzw. die Pausen zwischen den Songs recht kurz sind.

Ein herausragenden Song ist ohne Frage „Rock´n Roll is Dead“, ein astreiner Partysong mit Attitüde.

Der Sound ist ein wenig schwammig, aber das kann auch Absicht sein. Rumpel-Drums und eine sägende Gitarre. Solos werden kurz und knapp gehalten und man konzentriert sich auf das wesentliche. Ficken, Saufen, nicht zur Arbeit gehen, so könnte man die Texte der CD zusammenfassen.

Coole Kick-Ass-Party-Mucke, die man ohne Bedenken auf jeder Party einwerfen kann. Abgerundet wird „Easy Action“ noch mit eine klasse Coverversion von „Live Wire“ welches im Original von AC/DC ist.

Eine alte Drecksau welche ich nun mal bin, gehe ich hier auch mal auf das Backcover ein, wo man einen nackten Arsch von einer Blondine ins Gesicht gestreckt bekommt. Not bad, not bad.

This band is no more up to date. They have only this full length-CD out and a few Sampler-Tracks and Singles (hope I be right). On one hand sad that Runarounds no longer excist, but out of the ashes of the Runarounds came our fantastic Ironhead. Rounarounds was the pressederband of Ironhead, we can say. The Singer/Guitar-player Johnny Sonic is the bridge between these two bands.

I see not so many differences between Runarounds and Virginas Finest Ironhead, the reason is Johnny Sonic, he is /was the mainsongwrtiter in both bands. Hi svoice here sounds a bit more crappy like today and Runarounds are a bit more into the good ol´70ties Punk. More back to the roots we can say. Without a shadow of a doubt you get an good beating if your listen to this CD. No big breaks, and song on song they rock their asses of.

One of the beste tunes here is “Rock´n Roll is dead” an awesome Partysong with Attitude.

The sound is a bit muddy, but maybe the band wanted it that way. The drums are bit out of tune but htat is no fault. This has charme. Guitar-Solos are short and real basic, not very much Ego-Trips around here. The lyrics- as far as I understand them, are about the most important things in life: Fucking, drinking, no 9 to5, simpel and great.

Cool kick-ass-rock that you can play on every party and no one has to complain. The cream on the “Easy Action” is the cool and great Coversong of AC/DC´s “Live Wire”.

An old pig that I am, I must talk about the Backcover. Here we have an blonde that shows us her fantastic ass. Not bad, not bad.
