Rachel Stamp - Sweet Shop/Black Cherry

Dieser Longplayer ist eine Zusammenstellung von "Rachel Stamp's" ersten Aufnahmen. 18 Songs und davon werdet ihr sicherlich einiges lieben. Musikalisch geht die Band in Richtung "The Cars" und "Missing Persons". Der Gesang ist sehr hoch, ausserdem wird die Musik sehr oft von Synthesizers unterstüzt.

Mein lieblings Song auf diesem Album ist übrigens "My Sweet Rose". Ansonsten ist die Scheibe etwas zu langsam, aber es sind ja die ersten Aufnahmen von "Rachel Stamp", die Band hat sich ja im positiven geändert.



"Rachel Stamp" schickten mir auch noch eine 3 Track EP mit Namen "Black Cherry".



Auf dieser EP haben sich die Jungs extrem gewandelt, der Sound ist schneller, härter und auch musikalisch eine klasse besser...erinnert mich irgendwie an "The Killers". Auch die Lyrics sind besser geworden, doch ich muss schon sagen ein grosser Wandel dieser Band.



Ich werde nur die EP bewerten, da sie die neuste von "Rachel Stamp" ist.

This full length CD is an assortment of Rachel Stamp's earliest known recordings. 18 tracks you have to love something here. Musically the band reminds me a cosmic The Cars and Missing Persons. Vocals are high pitched with a lot of synthesizers. "My Sweet Rose" is my favorite track on the CD. Overall this CD is too laid back and slow. But it is the earliest recording .So you know how bands can change.



Rachel Stamp also sent along their latest 3 track EP called Black Cherry.



This is how the bands sound now and they have changed Big Time. Fast hard and sounding better than ever… reminds me of The Killers. Good lyrics, better music, it comes all together with this EP. They still have the 80's style with a heavier tone.



I am only going to Rating the Black Cherry EP because this is there latest recordings
