Push - Maxium Entertainment

Hier haben wir mal wieder eine Topband. Push gegründet in Copenhagen (Dänemark) 1994 von Martie Peters (Sänger) und Martin DaRic (Gitarrist). Nach 1995 einem Distributorengeschäft kamen Push unter Vertrag mit dem dänischen Label Nordic Metal. Songs wurden geschrieben und die Band bereitete ihr erstes Album vor und nannte es Maximum Entertainment. Das Album war fertig Ende 1996 und in Dänemark released am 14.Dezember. Bald danach kam es auch überall in Europa raus und die Band verdienten sich Ihre Sporen als Vorband für Royal Hunt und Pink Cream 69. Push liefert hier großartigen Melodic-Hardrock mit schönen Harmonien, dass einen Sound ähnlich klingen lässt wie White Lion und Enuff´z´nuff, wie bei Ihrem zweiten Album „On the Run“, dass ich jedoch für nicht so gut halte wie Maximum Entertainment. Rockige vollpower Songs wie „Down For the Last Time“, „Here´s To The Magic“, „Remember“, „´Round The World“ wollen uns zum Tanzen auffordern. Die richtige Mischung aus pfiffigen Gitarrenklängen, beatigen Drums, Snares und lautem Bass mit einer bombastischen Stimme oben drauf. Aber auch die Top-Ten mäßigen Balladen „In This Together“, „You Belong To Me“ und „The First Cut is the Deepest“ ist ein jeder Traum eines rockenden verliebten Herzens. Insgesamt eine tolle Leistung von den Dänen.

Here again a realy good Band. PUSH was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1994 by vocalist Martie Peters and former guitarist Martin DaRic, after a 1995 a distribution deal was secured with Danish label Nordic Metal, songs were written and the band prepared for their debut album. The album, Maximum Entertainment, was finished late the next year and released in Denmark on December 14, 1996. Soon after it was later released throughout Europe, and the band even earned spots opening for Royal Hunt and Pink Cream 69. PUSH delivers melodic hard rock with great harmonies that offer up a sound similar to that of White Lion and Enuff Z' Nuff on their latest release, On the Run. Powerful Rocksongs like „Down For the Last Time“, „Here´s To The Magic“, „Remember“, „´Round The World“ wants to request us to dance. The right mixture of sharp guitarsounds, beated drums,snares and loud bass with a bombastic voice on top. But also the top-ten ballads as In This Together“, „You Belong To Me“ and „The First Cut is the Deepest“ is a dream to everyones rock heart. Altogether a realy good performance from the dänish guys.
