Psychotron - Open the Gate

Hier haben wir eine coole Eigenproduktion der Deutschen Thrash Metal Band „Psychotron“. Wer auf Thrash der alten Schule steht, wird sicherlich gefallen an den Klängen von „Matze“ und Co. haben. Schade das die Musik etwas lasch abgemischt ist, aber mehr kann man kaum von einer Own Production erwarten. Die Songs jedenfalls hauen einem ein ordentliches Power Pack um die Ohren. Das Album nennt sich „Open the Gate“ und so heißt auch gleich der Opener der wie die Feuerwehr abgeht. Musikalisch kann sich die Band wahrlich nicht viel vorwerfen lassen. Das Songwriting ist auch mehrheitlich gut gelungen. Die Vocals wechseln von 80er Metal Gesang über zu massivem Death Gegrunze, die Kombination kann sich hören lassen. Der Stil gefällt mir nicht ganz so gut wie bei z.B. „Final Breath“ aber mit einem guten Label könnte man dieser Band noch den letzten Schliff geben. Mein Fave auf „Open the Gate“ ist übrigens der Song „Private Hell“ geiler Refrain und die Riffs hauen ordentlich rein. Here we have a cool own production from the German thrash metal band „Psychotron“. Who tends to old school thrash will surely find pleasure in the tunes of „Matze“ and Co. Shame, that the music is mixed a little bit low, but you can hardly expect more from an own production. At all events, the songs beat one a proper power pack around the ears. The album call itself „Open the Gate“ and so the opener sounds same, who blows up like the fire brigade. The band truly can’t musical let herself accuse much. The songwriting is plural succeed well too. The vocals change from 80’s metal singing to massive death growls, the combination can let itself hear. The style pleases me quite well like at „Final Breath“, but you could give this band the last polish with a good label. By the way my fave on „Open the gate“ is the song „Private Hell“, ace chorus and the riffs beat pure tidy.
