Prophet - Recycled

Hier haben wir wieder ein typische Hardrockband wie in den 80igern. Prophet bestehen aus Russell Arcara (Ex-Surigin, Arcara) Sänger, Ken Dubman Gitarre, Dave Dipietro (Nuclear Assault) Gitarre, Scott Metaxas (Nuclear Assault) Bass, Jim Callahan Schlagzeug und Joe Zujkowski Keyboard. Ihr drittes Studioalbum „Recycled“ erschien 1991. Der Musikstil ist recht eingängig und gleichzusetzen mit Giant, Silent Rage, Mr.Big etc....Angefangen bei „Run with the pack“, „Call of the wild“, „Street Fighter“, „Restless Hunger“ und „Brightest Star“ hört man fast keine Unterschiede. Eingängige Rhythmen gemischt mit klaren Gitarrensolos, hartem Bass und einem immer schön klingenden chorus mit der fantastischen Stimme von Russell Arcara. „Peace of Mind“ ist vergleichbar mit Bulletboys „Smooth up in Ya“. „Sides“ ist viel mit Akustik-Gitarre unterstrichen und ein etwas langsamer Song. „All i need“ ist die richtige Schmuse-Ballade mit schönen unterstrichenen Gitarrensolos und prachtvollem Chorus. Unbestritten ein perfektes Melodikrock Album, dass man einfach haben sollte.

Here we have again a typical hardrockband like in the 80s. Catchy rhythms mixed with clear guitar solos, hard bass and a always sounding beautiful chorus with the fantastic voice of Russell Arcara. „Peace of Mind“ you can compare with Bulletboys „Smooth up in Ya. „Sides“ have a lot accoustic guitar parts in and is quite slowly. „All i need“ is the right Kissing-ballade with nice guitarsolos and a splendid chorus. Undisputed a perfect melodicrock album, that one simply should have.
