Privat Life - Same

1990 erschien das zweite Album der Female Vocals AOR Band “Privat Life” und wurde von keinem geringeren als “Eddie Van Halen” produziert. Das Merkmal der Band ist sicherlich die Stimme von Frontlady „Kelly Breznik“ die eine Meisterin ihres Faches ist. Nicht Grundlos sang „Tia Carrere“ im Movie „Waynes World“ einen Part aus „Touch me", wer sachte die hübsche Asiatin sang selber, der irrt sich gewaltig. Die AOR Hymne „Touch me“ kennen andere vielleicht noch vom „Gremlins 2“ Soundtrack, es ist sozusagen der große Hit von „Privat Life“. Die Scheibe ist aber allgemein wirklich sehr gut, mir gefällt einfach die Stimme von „Kelly Breznik“ unglaublich gut, sie erinnert mich einwenig an „Robin Beck“ doch „Kelly’s“ Stimme ist noch einwenig dreckiger. Wer auf AOR steht, der wird seine Freude an dem Teil haben, die Songs, zergehen richtig auf der Zunge, „Domino“ „Fallin’ Apart“ oder „Give it Up“ sind alles tolle Melodic Rock Songs die alle aus einem Hollywood Movie stammen könnten, ihr wisst schon welche Filme das ich meine, also keine Pornos sondern 80er Komödien. „Privat Life“ veröffentlichten leider nur zwei Alben, das Debut „Shadows“ stammt aus dem Jahr 89 und dieses hier, wurde wie schon gesagt ein Jahr später veröffentlicht und zwar beim Label Riesen „Warner Bros.“ Die Band spielte dank „Eddie VH“ sogar im Vorprogramm von „Van Halen“ was man natürlich auch noch erwähnen sollte. Gitarrist „Danny Johnson“ formierte 1992 zusammen mit „D Molls“ Sänger „Desi Rexx“ und „UFO“ Drummer „Andy Parker“ das Projekt „Johnson & Rexx“, welches nicht gerade vom Erfolg gekrönt war. Das letzte mal als ich was von „Danny“ gehört habe, war auf dem „Steppenwolf“ Album „Feed the Fire“. Von den anderen Members habe ich leider keine Informationen vorliegen, ob die heiße „Kelly“ wohl Hausfrau und Mutter geworden ist und das Singen hat sein lassen? Who knowzzz, jedenfalls sollten sich AOR und Rock Fans diese CD zulegen, wer nur auf Sleaze und Glam steht, sollte aber die Finger davon lassen, weil hart ist dieses Teil natürlich nicht.
