Paatos - Timeloss (Reissue)

Was kommt mir den hier reingeschneit! Ich habe bisher ja immer die schwedischen Bands/Produktionen gelobt, aber dieser Schwachsinn ist mir noch nicht untergekommen. Von der Band, von der ich hier spreche heißt Paatos aus Schweden. Ihr Original Release von „Timeloss“ war bereits in 2002 und wurde nun durch Inside Out/SPV als Reissue herausgebracht. Was für eine Verschwendung! Fangen wir mal mit dem Cover an. Hier hätte ich ja noch eher gute Musik vermutet, sieht ja auch gar nicht schlecht aus. Als ich aber dann die Scheibe, in meinen CD-Player einlegte und mir den ersten Song anhörte musste ich mich schon sehr wundern. Das hat für mich absolut nichts mit Rock, Hardrock, Sleaze zu tun. Ja spinn ich denn. Also hörte ich mir die 5 Songs an, die überdies elend lang sind. Die Musik ist mir zu viel Folklore, Jazzklänge, zu seichte Songs und würde mich nach schon 10Minuten langweilen. Ist doch was für Theatergänger oder sogar auch für Filmmusik eher geeignet. Das sie mit The Gathering auf Tournee gehen kann ich auch nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Und der Videoclip als Bonus, bringt die CD auch nicht an mich näher heran. Bitte schön, wer es mag aber ich steh schon mehr auf die richtig gute Heavy Musik.

What the hell comes here through my door! Till now, I always have the Swedish bands/Productions praised but this mental deficiency feeble-mindedness is still not found accommodation. Which band i talk here about is Paatos from Sweden. The originell releasedate from „Timeloss“ was already in 2002 were Inside out/SPV as Reissue bringing out now. What kind of waste! I beginn with their cover. I would have still rather suspects good music after i seen the cover, it doesn't look bad at all either here. But when i insert the CD into my player and listened to the first song i had to be very much surprised already. This has absolutely nothing to do with Rock, Hardrock or Sleaze for me. Get I crazy! Therefore I listened to the 5 songs which moreover miserably are long. The music is to too much for me folklore, Jazzksound, to soft Songs and would bore me after already 10 minutes. It´s more for people who goes in the theater or even also rather suitable for film music. That they are on tour with The Gathering i can´t quite comprehend. The CD doesn't give a better understanding and the video clip as a bonus, close to me either. I stand more on the really good Heavy music.
