Overloaded - Hellfire

Jesus, da habe ich doch fast vergessen euch die 2te Overlaoded-EP „Hellfire“ vorzustellen.

Ganz im Stile der anderen Scheibe „Hail to the Kingdom“ liefern uns die Metal-Freaks aus Detroit wieder 5 Songs die es echt in Sich haben. US-Metal wie ich ihn liebe, mit brachialen Riffs und einen Schuss Melodie. Sänger Chris schreit sich beim Song „Hellfire“ die Seele aus dem Leib und die Band lässt es gewaltig krachen. Wie ich schon in dem anderen Review schrieb wird hier der Geist von Lizzy Borden, Breaker und anderen Göttern beschworen und Overloaded haben das Metal-Heart da wo es hingehört.

Ein wenig Rock´n Roll lassen die Amis auch in ihre Musik fließen, das hört man besondern bei dem treibenden „Shotgun City“. Der letzte Song auf dieser EP wird eine Coverversion des Osmonds Klassikers „Crazy Horses“ sein. Fans des deutschen Mat Sinner werden sich noch an die Coverversion vor etlichen Jahren auf dem „Back to the Bullet“-Album erinnern, die wird von Overloaded sicher an die Wand gepustet. Leider war der Track noch nicht mit auf dem Promo enthalten

„Heavy Metal Highway“ ist die Hymne der Band und hier dreht man gerne noch mal die Lautstärke auf. Well done, boys, we will bang our heads to your sound!!

Jesus, I have barley forgot to tell you about the second EP from Overloaded called „Hellfire”. Just like the other CD “Hail to the Kingdom” you get what you deserve from the 5 Metal-Freaks from Detroit. Pure Old-School-US-Metal that I adore, with the brutal Riffing and the touch of melody. Yes, Overloaded are still keeping the flame burning that was once set on fire by Lizzy Borden or Breaker, for example. At the Titeltrack Singer Chris is screaming like a banshee and that’s sounds great. The guys from Overloaded have the Metal-Heart where it belongs.

A bit Rock´n Roll is also in their sound, what you can perfect hear on the cool “Shotgun City”. The last song on this EP will be a cover version of the Osmonds-Classic “Crzay Horses”. Fans in Germany or Europe will remember the version of Mat Sinner on his Solo-CD “Back to the Bullet”, but Overloaded will blew Mat Sinners version surley away. It is a pitty that the song is not included on the Promo so far.

“Heavy Metal Highway” is the anthem of the band, and you must turn up the volume.
