Nize Boyz - Songs from the Livingroom

Was man an einem Sunday Nachmittag nicht alles so im CD Regal findet, nicht wahr? Genau, wie ihr, dachte ich beim Namen „Nize Boyz“ gleich an eine Sleaze Band und habe mir die Scheibe damals gleich gekauft. Was haben die „Nize Boyz“ mit Sleaze zu tun? Ungefähr dasselbe wie ich mit „Guns n Roses“, nämlich überhaupt nichts. Viel mehr, bekommt man bei „Songs from the Livingroom“ einen ganz lockeren Rock geliefert mit vielen Akustik Elementen. Damals, war ich natürlich entsetzt, weil ich wollte dass bei so einem glamourösen Namen, die Hütte rockt. Nun ja, das Album ist eigentlich ganz nett, wenn man auf seichten Rock steht. Die Stimme von „Porky Kronier“ erinnert mich sehr stark an die von „Billy Idol“, was natürlich ein Plus Punkt für die „Boyz“ ist. Die Songs sind an und für sich ganz gut gelungen, „Danger Zone“ oder „Strange Facts“ sind vom Songwriting her, wirklich gut geworden. Da „Songs from the Livingroom“ höchstens noch auf E-Bay erhältlich ist und es nichts für einen Sleazer ist, erübrigt sich ein Kauf, oder eine genauere Review der Scheibe. Nette Musik, für einsame Stunden.
