Loud&Clear - Disc-Conncted

Wie der Name schon verrät ist Loud & Clear, laute und klare Rockmusik. „Disc-Connected“ ist ihr zweites Album und ein schönes AOR Album mit einigen mehr Modern Rock Elementen und dass verursachte einige harte Diskussionen unter den Fans (Mir persönlich gefiel das erste Album auch besser , weil es melodischer war!). Viele ihrer Fans erwarteten die gleiche Musik oder sogar noch besser jedoch nicht diesen Stil oder was heutzutage modern ist. Es ist nichts schlechtes dabei neue Experimente und neue Ideen in die Musik einzubringen, doch bin ich der Meinung die Bands sollten sich Treu bleiben, wie man ja auch bei Def Leppard, Aerosmith sehen kann. Und niemand erreicht größere Erfolge, wenn man alte Songs nachahmt. Was du hier mit diesem Album bekommst ist eine schöne Kollektion an Songs, die sich ausbreiten von alt-modischen AOR (wie auch schon erwähnt Def Leppard) zu mehr neuartigen geschmackvollem Melodik Rock wie Harem Scarem. Teilweise erinnern mich die Songs wie „Tell Me Why“, „Fly Away“, „When I Feel Like That“ oder auch „Time To Let Go“ an bestimmte Songs von Def Leppard oder auch Enuff´z´nuff, dass liegt auch ganz stark wegen der Stimme von Jess Harnell. Die meisten Songs haben tolle neue Effekte eingepackt wie „Disc-Connected“, „Dangerous Imagination“, „Lovers In The Night“, „If It Takes All Night“, „Take Another Look“, „I Can´t Wait“, „You Take Me Higher“ oder auch „You Gotta Dance“ aber fallen dann ins alte Muster mittendrin zurück. Wie auch immer, die Produktion könnte besser sein, der Sound ein bischen mehr schmutziger und besonders der schlagzeug Sound ist nicht besonders gut. Wenn auch nicht die Musik wirklich hoch gerühmt wird, die Songs sind definitiv besser. Ein Hingucker Wert!

It seems like there´s a few Fans who wants the same sound back as before or better but not this style or what should be today modern. It´s not bad to bring new experiments and new ideas into it, but the band should be true to themselves, as you also can see to band like Def Leppard or Aerosmith. No band is going to archieve greater success by just emulation the old sounds. What you´ll get here is a collection of tracks that spread out old-fashioned AOR (as i already say by Def Leppard) to more new tastefully melodic rock like Harem Scarem. Partly some songs remind me like „„Tell Me Why“, „Fly Away“, „When I Feel Like That“ or even „Time To Let Go“to some special songs of Def Leppard or Enuff´z´nuff, mostly because of Jess Harnell´s voice. The most songs have good new effects included like „Disc-Connected“, „Dangerous Imagination“, „Lovers In The Night“, „If It Takes All Night“, „Take Another Look“, „I Can´t Wait“, „You Take Me Higher“ or even „You Gotta Dance“ but then they fall back to the old rhythm. However, the production could have been better, the sound a bit more dirty and especially the drum sound isn´t particulary good. The music isn't praised really highly either, just the songs are definitely better. Check it Out!
