Lizzy Borden - Menace to Society

"Lizzy Borden", die 80er Kult Band war zurück, "Menace to Society" hieß ihr im Jahre 86 erschienenes Werk. Nur schon das Cover rechtfertigt den Kauf dieser Scheibe, Lizzy und co auf einem US Army Gefährt mit Motorsäge, Baseballschläger und Axt, Yeah thats “American Metal”

Nicht nur das Cover ist aber den Kauf wert, die Musik ist ebenfalls klasse, nach dem cooler Opener “Generation Aliens” kommt schon gleich mein Lieblings Song von "Lizzy", nein : “me against tue World” ist genauso gut aber ansonsten kenn ich keinen besseren Song der Band “Notorious” yes das ist Heavy Metal, im Gegensatz zu Konkurrenten Schock Rocker "Blacky Lawless" hat "Lizzy" halt die kreischender Stimme und singt um einiges höher, das heisst nicht sie mir besser gefällt aber das ist halt Metal wie der von der US Band Halloween.

Ich kann sonst keinen Song erwähnen, sie sind alle für sich klasse, typischer "Lizzy Borden "Sound eben, wild schnell und tötend. Dieser Band wäre mehr Erfolg gegönnt geblieben, und was würde ich dafür geben bei der Murderess Live Metal Show einmal dabei gewesen zu sein.
