English Version:
On this album Kiss put their music into an 80s dress, what actually worked out quite well. They didn’t go too far away from their rough Hardrock origins. And although the new influences can be heard very clearly, every song will be immediately recognized as a Kiss song. Asylym contains almost everything that eighties Rock had to offer, from the slow Metal hymn “Who wants to be lonely” to the well produced AOR track “Tears are falling”. With some songs Kiss even had the help of the legendary song writer Desmond Child. That’s why all of the ten songs have a very good quality. As a matter of fact on this album are no alltime classics of the band, and you better look for those among the seventies material anyway, but in spite of that some songs have to be mentioned in particular.
To the Hardrock fans songs number one and two “King of the mountain” and “Anyway you slice it” can be recommended especially, because they rock quite well. And the fifth song “I’m alive” brings good Hardrock in Kiss style, too. The Glam lovers will be happy about songs number four “Trail by fire” and ten “Uh! All night” that really bring you the good times.
“Asylym” can be recommended especially to the people that consider “Crazy Nights” to be a little too soft, but wanna hear Kiss in eighties style.
