Kid Ego - Promo-EP

Kid Ego sind eine echte Überraschung, mit Herkunft UK. Die Insel hat ja in den letzten Jahren eher weniger geniale Bands hervorgebracht, sicher ein paar gute waren dabei. Kid Ego sind nun ein paar coole Newcomer aus York in England.

Von Kid Ego gibt es leider Gottes erst Mal nur diese Single mit 2 echten Highlights drauf. Geiler Sound im Stile von Black´n Blue, Tesla, Ratt und Quiet Riot rockt uns bei „Lady Comniver“ entgegen und rüttelt ordentlich am Gebälk. Sänger Zakk hat eine Bombenstimme, der auch vor super geilen hohen Schreien nicht zurückschreckt und dabei ein klein wenig an den jungen Bruce Dickinson erinnert. Geiler Rock´n Roll Partysound von Kid Ego, als wenn es Grunge und all den anderen Mist nie gegeben hätte. Eine Band auf die wir hier sicher ein wachsames Auge haben werden. Die beiden Songs sind erste Sahne produziert und fahren ein mächtiges Brett. Der 2te Titel hier „Till i Die“ ist ein weiter Knaller, der sofort zum bangen und rocken animiert.

Mit nur 2 Songs haben Kid Ego sich für große Taten empfohlen und die ganze Chose erinnert mich an die NWOBHM-Zeiten wo Bands auch nur mit einer Single zum Kult werden konnten.

Kid Ego from the UK are a really surprise to me. To be honest what band from the UK-Island has made a great impact in the last years?? But Kid Ego are so very cool newcomers from York in England.

The only sad thing about Kid Ego is, that the first sign of life is just a 2-Song-Single, but with two great highlights. Awesome sound in the vain of Black´n Blue, Tesla, Ratt or Quiet Riot is what you get here. The sound will shakes you bones with the clear and powerful production. To mention is singer Zakk, with his killer voice he also claims high screams. When he screams out his lungs he reminds me on a young Bruce Dickinson. Great partysound from Kid Ego is what we have here and that is way cool. The band sounds like grunge and all the crap has never faced the earth with their lousy tunes. Both songs are real rockers, “Till I die” is a track you must shake your heads to.

With 2 just 2 songs Kid Ego has my full attention and I will have a weak eye on them.

Just like in the times back in the NWOBHM, when bands also became a cult with a 2 Songs EP!! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!
