Ganze sieben Jahre mußte man warten, um endlich wieder ein Lebenszeichen vom ehemaligen Juillet- und Heartless-Shouter Kenny McGee zu Ohren zu bekommen. Über die Qualität von JUILLET möchte ich mich hier gar nicht auslassen (dazu reicht der Platz auch nicht), denn die Band war (und ist inzwischen ja auch wieder) einfach genial. Und anscheinend sind die Jahre an Kenny McGee spurlos vorüber gegangen, anders kann ich mir nicht erklären, daß er nahtlos an das anknüpft, was Juillet damals hinterlassen haben. Allein der Opener „Don’t ya worry“ und die nachfolgende Ballade „Can’t say goodbye“ reichen schon aus, um diese CD zu lieben. Aber damit nicht genug, auch die nachfolgenden Songs können voll überzeugen. Zwar orientiert sich Kenny bei einigen Songs an Great White und auch an RATT, aber das kann ja nicht falsch sein. Man kann nur hoffen, dass die reformierten Julliet genauso abrocken, wie ihr Sänger auf dieser Scheibe.

Finally, you had to wait quite seven years to get a sign of the ex Juillet- and Heartless-shouter Kenny McGee to the ears again. I wouldn’t talk about the quality of JUILLET here (the space doesn’t reach for that), because the band was simple genius (and meanwhile it’s again too). And seeming, the years have gone without a trace over Kenny McGee, I can’t explain it different, that he begins seamless what Juillet had left behind in this time. Already the opener „Don’t ya worry“ alone and the following ballad „Can’t say goodbye“ reach to love this CD. But it’s not enough with that, the following songs can full convince too. Kenny related himself in some songs at Great White and on RATT too, but this can’t be wrong.
