English Version:
Thrash Metal is „in“ again and this prove „Jesus Chrysler Superskunk“ with their debut album „…the loudest no!“ too, that got issued at „Dioxzion Records“ on november 21. The line up promises some known names, so you know the drummer „Sven Vormann“ from the cult thrash band „Destruction“ and „Michael Gerstlauer“ from „Hatesquad“ times yet. So, you want know how „Jesus Chrysler Superskunk“ sell themself? Tja, the Germans offer scrollless thrash metal, which is armed with old school and new thrash elements. The disc pleases me very well as „bay area thrash fan“, it will not hesitated long, but pressed tidy on speed and a fat chorus drawn out of the pocket here and there, how about at the titletrack. Sure, you find a melody highlight in vain, but that isn’t it what has made the thrash metal famous too. Here the instruments get used much more as weapons and you have the feel, swords flies around the ears, so it gets whirled here. I have play first tips for you in kind of „Fighting Day“ and „Revolution“. Maybe „…the loudest no!“ is no master piece, but a damn cool thrash metal disc. (Translation by Dominic)
