Jeff Scott Soto - Lost in the Translation

Ow Yeah, was erwartet man von einem genialen Sänger wie Jeff Scott Soto? Ja, genau ein wahres Feuerwerk an schönen Melodien und das wird auf seinem neusten Werk „Lost in Translation“ erneut geboten. Wenn dieser Silberling am 20.September in den Läden steht, kann ich jedem Hard Rock/Melodic Rock Fan nur empfählen ohne bedenken zu zugreifen und sich dieses geniale Album zu schnappen.

Der Opener „Believe in me“ der übrigens auch als Single erschienen ist, haut einem schon mal eine Melodie um die Ohren die seines gleichen sucht, ich muss gestehen das mir der Song erst beim 3maligem hören richtig gezündet hat, aber dann gleich richtig. Weiter geht es mit dem wunderbaren „Soul Devine“, „Jeff Scott Soto“ singt natürlich wie immer auf höchstem Niveau, der Refrain bei diesem Song ist erneut absolut hoch stehend. Mit „Drowning“ wird es dann schön rockig, feurige Gitarren und ein bangender Beat machen diesen Song zu einem Reisser…der Chorus gibt einem dann noch den Rest – Klasse.

Nun kann geträumt werden Freunde: „If this is the End“ macht ich traurigerweise nachdenklich und bringt Erinnerungen in mir auf die ich lieber verdrängen würde. Jedenfalls ist „If this the End“ eine der schönsten Balladen die ich in diesem Jahr gehört habe, gefühlsvoll gesungen und mit einem märchenhaften Refrain. Als nächstes steht der Titeltrack zu „Lost in Translation“ auf dem Plan, ein sehr smarter Song der mich wiederum mit einer feinen Melodie überzeugt, die Energie welcher dieser Titel ausstrahlt gefällt mir sehr gut.

„Doin´Time“ hingegen ist der erste Song auf diesem Longplayer der bei diesem hohen Niveau etwas abfällt, was aber nicht heisst das er schlecht ist. Nun, „High Time“ steigert die Qualität gleich wieder um das Maximum, ein happy Titel der schnell ins Ohr geht und nicht mehr raus will. „Beginning 2 End“ nennt sich die zweite Ballade von JSS der übrigens dieses phantastische Album übrigens selber Produziert hat (ich würde mal sagen, das hat er sehr gut gemacht.) Die Ballade ist erneut wunderschön, aber im Vergleich zu „If this the End“ nicht ganz so stark, in meinen Augen.

„On my Own“ Yeah, es wird wieder gerockt, netter Song und positiv zu erwähnen das „Lost in Translation“ keinen einzigen Hänger aufweist. „Find our way“ überzeugt mich erneut, wiederum ein Song mit sehr viel positiver Energie, genau das was wir in einer Zeit voller Hass und Negativität brauchen. Das Album wird durch das Akustische „Sacred Heart“ würdig beendet, einem Song der unter die Haut geht.

„Lost in Translation“ ist ein Album das man sich immer wieder anhören kann und es wird jedes Mal ein Stück besser und man findet immer Passagen die noch eingängiger werden. Das ist nicht nur ein weiteres Melodic Hard Rock Album das man schnell wieder vergisst, nein liebe Leute mit „Lost in Translation“ hat „The Voize“ „JSS“ ein kleines Meisterwerk geschaffen, welches man unbedingt kaufen sollte, wie gesagt es wird am 20 September in den Regalen stehen und ich kann es allen Hard Rock/AOR Fans empfehlen, unterstützt diese Art der Musik, welche von Herzen kommt.

With "Drowning" it becomes then beautifully rocking, fiery guitars and a fearing for Beat makes this Song a must... the Chorus gives then still the remainder - to class. Now can be dreamed friends: to "If this is the end" makes I sad-prove thoughtfully and brings memories in me on which I would rather displace. Anyhow "If is this the ends" one the most beautiful Ballads which I in this year heard, sung feelingful and with a fairy taleful Refrain. Next the title Track stands too "lost in translation" on the plan, a very smart Song me again with a fine melody convinced, the energy of which this title radiates pleases me with his high level on positv energy.

"Doin'Time" however is the first Song on this Longplayer with this high level somewhat drops, which however which is not called he is bad. Now, "High time" increases equal quality again by the maximum, happy a title fast in the ear goes and any longer out of the brain. To "Beginning 2 end" calls itself the second Ballad of JSS that by the way this fantastic album by the way produced (I times to say, he made that very good.)
