Giant is a great band who never become so big as they should. With their second album „Time To Burn“ released in 1992, they could have made it, but the time wasn't ripe for this. Quite harms because it is an excellent album. With Dann Huff (Whiteheart) on vocals and guitar, Mike Brignardello on bass, David Huff on drums and Alan Pasqua on keyboard they handed in a really good performance. The special to Giant is the unusual way like Dann sings and lets the songs sound quite funny. Their music style is in the same vein like Foreigner, Journey or Def Leppard. Besides splendid on-thriller as „Thunder And Lightning“, „Chained“ and „Stay“ dashes sensible ballads „Lost In Paradise“, „Save Me Tonight“, „Now Until Forever“ in. Funny arcades arrive in Lay It On The Line“ (reminds me a little bit of Bon Jovis „Lay Your Hands on Me“....), „Time To Burn“ and „Get Used To It“. The best song on the CD is for me „I´ll Be There (When It´s Over). Impressive text and song melody, as an earwig this one can easily be regarded. Important to have!
