Garbo Talks - Same

Bei dem Projekt Garbo Talks kommen großartige Musiker wie Jon Gorman, Al Greenwood, Bob Held und Tony Bruno zusammen. Vor allem ist Garbo Talks eine Collection von alten Demos und ein paar neuen Tracks. Zusammen mit mehreren anderen talentierten Musikern wie Chuck Bonafante (Saraya), Andy Timmons (Danger Danger) und Paul Stanley,Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick von KISS, die ihren Beitrag zu dieser Session für das Schaffen eines perfekten Hardrockalbums gaben. Bob Held hatte mit Al Greenwood und Tony Bruno an einigen Projekten wie auch Joe Lynn Turner Alben gearbeitet, und dass ist eine Tatsache, dass sie beide langjährige songschreibende Mitarbeiter von Held waren. Somit ist das Album alleine dadurch schon mal gerettet und stark genug. Ihr Musikstil ist sehr stark wie in den späten 80iger, der New York Melodikhardrock. Keyboards sind häufig als unterstütztes Tool in den Songs und die Vokalpartien beeindrucken wie bei Keel, Journey oder Steelheart Scheiben. Die herausstechenden Songs finde ich sind „Only Love“, „Hard Times“ und „Easy Come, Easy Go“. Richtige coole Riffs und superschöne Melodien. Was mir auch aufgefallen ist bei dem Song „Give You My Lovin´“ könnte glatt von Whitesnake oder Foreigner gesungen worden sein, Jon Gormanns Stimme klingt nämlich fast ähnlich. Bei „Fire Me Up“ oder auch „Game Of Love“ kommt mir die Band Lion in den Sinn, die Stimme hier ähnlich doch sehr stark an Karl Swan. Ich finde das Album richtig gut und sollte auf jeden Fall angetastet werden.

Excellent musicians like Jon Gorman, Al Greenwood, Bob Held and Tony Bruno come together at the project Garbo Talks. Primarily is Garbo Talks a Collection of old demos and a couple of new Tracks. Together with several other talented musicians like Chuck Bonafante (Saraya), Andy Timmons (Danger Danger) und Paul Stanley, Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick all of KISS who giving their service to the sessions in creating a perfect hard rock album. Bob Held had been working with Al Greenwood and Tony Bruno on several projects incl Joe Lynn Turner albums and other sessions, plus that the fact that they both been longstanding songwriting collaborators of Held. The album is alone therefore saved by it before and strong enough.The style is very much late 80's New York melodic hard rock.Keyboards are frequent as a backing tool to the songs and the vocals big like any good Keel, Journey or Steelheart record. Songs here putting out very much are „Only Love“, „Hard Times“ und „Easy Come, Easy Go“. Really cool riffs and great melodies. What i also noticed on the Song „Give You My Lovin´“ it could be from Whitesnake or Foreigner because Jon Gormanns voice sounds very similar. On „Fire Me Up“ or even „Game Of Love“ you would think of the band Lion, the voice from Karl Swan is here similar to Jons. I find the album really good and in any case should be offended.
