Excellent musicians like Jon Gorman, Al Greenwood, Bob Held and Tony Bruno come together at the project Garbo Talks. Primarily is Garbo Talks a Collection of old demos and a couple of new Tracks. Together with several other talented musicians like Chuck Bonafante (Saraya), Andy Timmons (Danger Danger) und Paul Stanley, Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick all of KISS who giving their service to the sessions in creating a perfect hard rock album. Bob Held had been working with Al Greenwood and Tony Bruno on several projects incl Joe Lynn Turner albums and other sessions, plus that the fact that they both been longstanding songwriting collaborators of Held. The album is alone therefore saved by it before and strong enough. The style is very much late 80's New York melodic hard rock.Keyboards are frequent as a backing tool to the songs and the vocals big like any good Keel, Journey or Steelheart record. Songs here putting out very much are „Only Love“, „Hard Times“ und „Easy Come, Easy Go“. Really cool riffs and great melodies. What i also noticed on the Song „Give You My Lovin´“ it could be from Whitesnake or Foreigner because Jon Gormanns voice sounds very similar. On „Fire Me Up“ or even „Game Of Love“ you would think of the band Lion, the voice from Karl Swan is here similar to Jons. I find the album really good and in any case should be offended.
