Dry Kill Logic - The Dead and Dreaming

Ist euch das neue SlipKnot Album zu soft geworden? Dann kann ich euch einen Tipp geben, hört euch unbedingt das neue Album von „Dry Kill Logic“ an, wer auf harten modernen Sound ala Soulfly, SlipKnot oder Static X steht, der wird von „The Dead and Dreaming“ begeistert sein. Für True Metal Fans ist diese Band nichts, man sollte schon einwenig offen für die Klänge sein. Auch wenn hier teilweise ordentlich gegrunzt wird, ist die Musik trotzdem sehr modern und ist wohl her auf eine jüngere Zielgruppe ausgelegt.

Mir persönlich gefällt dieser Longplayer sehr gut, auch wenn ich eher der traditionelle Metal Hörer bin, darf es bei mir auch mal „anders“ abgehen und „The Dead and Dreaming“ rockt doch ganz schön los. Der Opener „Lost“ gibt gleich bekannt in welche Richtung diese Band zielt und brettert tierisch los. Das Album ist durchzogen von harten schnellen Songs (Perfect Enemy, Push/Pull) und ein paar wenige die melodiöser sind, „Then you Lie“, „Hindsight“ zum Beispiel. Im grossen und ganzen wird aber die „Härte“ auf „The Dead and Dreaming“ gross geschrieben. Knallhart und Brutal, genau das will man von einer Band wie „Dry Kill Logic“ wenn schon modern, dann wenigstens „HART“ und das sind die Jungs ohne Zweifel.

Nu Metal Fans aufgepasst, hier kommen „Dry Kill Logic“ und sie bringen euch eine ordentliche Portion an harten Melodien. „The Dead and Dreaming“ sollte sich jeder mal anhören, Metal Fan hin oder her, scheiss auf „Tradition“ diese Band rockt.

The album is pulled through of hard, fast songs (Perfect Enemy, Push/Pull) and some less, which are more melodious. For example „Then you Lie“, „Hindsight“. In big and exact the „hardness“ becomes written big on „The Dead and Dreaming“. Damn hard and brutal, already if you want that exactly of a band like „Dry Kill Logic“, then „hard“ at least and the guys are this without doubt. Nu metal fans attented, here come „Dry Kill Logic“ and they bring you a tidy portion of hard melodies.
