Brutal Pancho - EP 2006

Seit The Deadthings wissen wir das auch in Australien einige geile Bands aus dem Kick-Ass-Glam´n Roll zu bieten hat. Aus Down under stammen auch Brutal Pancho und die geben uns hier mit ihrem 2006er Demo ihre Visitenkarte ab. Das Trio hat einen Sound der sich sehr an die Skandinavische Szene orientiert, aber mächtig Gas gibt. Bei Brutal Pancho sind auf jeden Fall schon mal CDs der Backyard Babies oder Turbonegro gelaufen und auch die Old-School kennen die 3 Australier. Dann kommt noch ein Schuss popiger Rock-Attitüde hinzu wie man es bei Buckcherry findet und schon könnt ihr euch ein ungefähres Bild machen.

Man kann Brutal Pancho jetzt nicht mit Jack Viper aus England vergleichen, die das totale Old-School-Brett fahren, doch irgendwo zwischen den Vidpers und den Deadthings findet man Brutal Pancho. „Rock Hard´n Ready“ kommt mit cooler AC/DC-Gitarre daher und rockt die Bude in Schutt und Asche. Brutal Pancho machen nicht den Fehler und ruhen sich auf den Lorbeeren ihrer übergroßen Landesvetter aus, sie kochen ihr eigenes Süppchen mit den zutaten welche sie lieben und kenne.

Hier wird wieder jeder glücklich der sich für herrlichen Kick´Ass-Rock´n Roll schon das Frühstücksei würzt und mit einer Motörhead-CD im Player zur Arbeit fährt. Ihr wisst was ihr müsst- BESTELLEN!!

The Trio are playing a cool sound that is influenced by the Scandinavian Scene. I’m sure that Brutal Pancho have listen to some Backyard Babies and Turbonegro in the past. Also you can hear that Brutal Pancho has a little pop-Attitude just like Buckcherry have it too. Cool melody lines in the vocals, if know what I wanna to say. If you put all the influences in a blender you can imagine how Brutal Pancho sounds like.

You can not say the Panchos are like total Old-School-Sleazers Jack Viper from the UK, but somewhere between Deadthings and Jack Viper is some room for Brutal Pancho.

“Rock Hard´n Ready” comes along with a very cool AC/DC-Sounding Guitar and the song rocks your Bones. Brutal Pancho are not resting in the shade of the Young-Brothers, the mix their Cocktail or Rot´n Roll, they know and love the incidences and made their own hot sauce.
