So kommt man bei der Nummer drei „Ain’t no talkin’ with your mouthful“ öfters mal in Versuchung „The Jack“ mitzusummen.
Ansonsten ist „Up the crack“ aber ein recht gutes Hardrockalbum, mit ganz frischen Texten, das man auf jeden Fall mal gehört haben sollte.
English Version:
At the beginning something positive: The quality of the sound is pretty good, something that unfortunately doesn’t always happens with discs from Perrisrecords. The Band itself is not bad, either. Right with the first, the titletrack, song you’ll recognize the strong influences of AC/DC. In the first moments one might even think that it is the band from Australia. But in order to be in one league with the greatest band of the world, the guys of Boned still have to practise a little bit.
But as a matter of fact their album “Up at the crack” is quite good. Next to the titletrack number two “Drain the main vein” also has to be mentioned. It represents really good Hardrock that is being played pretty fast and makes you feel good. The rest of the songs are as well Hardrock with a touch of Blues that can’t maintain the level of the first two songs but are still worth listening to, if you can handle the fact that you will catch yourself many times wondering about which AC/DC Song has been the influence for the track you’re listening to. For example song number three sounds a lot like “The Jack”. But in spite of that “Up at the crack” is a quite good Hardrock album with some fresh texts that one should have listened to.
