Blue Blud - The Big Noise

Blue Blud ist eine Band aus England und konnte mit Ihrem Album „The Big Noise“, Ende der 80iger einige Schlagzeilen reißen. Mark und Paul Sutcliffe und Dave Crawte waren schon in der früheren Heavy Metallband „Tespass“ seit 1980 zusammen und haben später Blue Blud gegründet. Hinzu kamen Sänger Phil Kane und Keyboarder Rob Ariss. Wie so viele andere Bands waren sie dem AOR, Melodikrock zu dieser Zeit verschrieben. Durch den gossen Andrang anderer Bands konnten sie sich jedoch nie in der Szene etablieren. Blue Blud knüpfen an Bands wie Bon Jovi, Firehouse und Danger Danger an. Durch die etwas ausgeprägte Stimme von Phil Kane wirken die Songs jedoch nie als eine Kopie, der genannten Bands, sondern als eigenständige Songs. Es sind einfach zu verstehende Texte, hervorragend gespielt und arrangiert. Die Songs können alle Mal mit Bon Jovi und Konsorten mithalten. Schöne Anheizer sind die Songs „One More Night“, „Running Back“, „Don´t Turn out the Light“ und „Secret Lover“. Mit kräftig klingenden Drums, höllisch gutem Gitarrengeklimper, unterstrichen durch Keyboardklänge und Chöre und etwas höher gelegener Stimme Kanes. Im Mid-Tempo Takt liegen „Love Grows Wild“, „Never Rains In England“, „My Idea Of Heaven“, „I Can´t Wait“ und „Road to Ruin“. Einzigartig präzise gespielt. Die einzige Ballade ist „Night Time City“ und die ist Ihnen himmlisch gut gelungen. Der Song wird mit einer weinerlichen Gitarre eingeleitet und unterstreicht dann mit träumerischem Keyboard, die ganze Melodie des Songs. Ist einfach eine Hammerballade. Diese CD sollte man sich eigentlich als Melodikfan anschaffen. Gehört einfach in die 80iger Ecke dazu. Schnuppert mal rein.

Nice aggravate songs are „One More Night“, „Running Back“, „Don´t Turn out the Light“ and „Secret Lover“. With powerful drumbeat, hell good guitarplaying underlined through keyboardsounds and choruses and some higher voice from Kane. In the mid-speed are „Love Grows Wild“, „Never Rains In England“, „My Idea Of Heaven“, „I Can´t Wait“ and „Road to Ruin“. Incredible exact played. The only ballade is „Night Time City“ and is a great ballad. The song is initiated with a tearful guitar and underlined with dreamy keyboardsound, the whole melody of the song. It is simply a hammer ballad. This CD you should buy as a melodicrock fan. Simply belongs to it in the 80s corner.
