The english Band Blue Blud chanced their bandname in Blue Blood for their second Album „Universal Language“. Why that just know the band or they meant that everyone would think it´s a new band. At the latest if you look at the bandmembers names, it is as clear as daylight that it´s the same members. The album was released in 1991. Really amazing that some bands go with the time and change their music style and for some bands the time simply stands still and they never venture something new. To Blue Blood it´s not different. In contrast to their first album they have changed a bit the music style. The mixture goes from rock in the blues. Mixed it sounds like Faster Pussycat, Vain, Enuff'Z Nuff and Kingdom Come. Also Philip J. Kanes voice isn´t so high and screaming, but rather tame. They play already a long time, so the talent is there as you can see in the way of their playing. It is simply perfect. On the album I want to emphasize, actually, only two songs. First the Song „Universal Language“. The song starts with a female computer voice and changes in hot powerful guitar rhythm with a nice chorus. To the other the ballad „Share The Night“. Gets very near like Faster Pussycat and Enuff`Z Nuff. Simply listen, say I only. In the essentials, it is also a good album, but the band could do more better songs. A great pity, because good attempts existed!
