Blind Fury - Out of Reach

Ein weiteres Re-Release aus dem Hause Majestic Rock. „Blind Fury´s“ Out of Reach- erschien eigentlich im Jahre 1984, also genau vor 20 Jahren und erhält nun eine zweite Chance einen Käufer zu finden.

Hier wird ganz klar Heavy Metal Grossgeschrieben, und zwar solcher mit vielen Klischees. Das Cover finde ich an sich noch ganz gelungen, wenn man sich dann aber die Fotos im Innen-Booklet anschaut, zaubert einem das doch ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht. Naja, was solls..hey das waren die 80er und da durfte man so rumlaufen.

Ich kann mich mit der Songqualität leider nicht ganz anfreunden, „Do it Loud“ der Opener hört sich ganz nett an, aber er haut mich genau so wenig um wie der Titeltrack „Out of Reach“. Ich muss auch gestehen das mir „Lou Taylor´s“ Gesang nicht gefällt, na ja eigentlich typische Vocals für damals von Bands wie „The Ruffians“ oder „Omen“ aber hier passt es mir nicht. Spielerisch kann ich nichts bemängeln, Riffs und Solis fliegen einem da buchstäblich um die Ohren. Wie so viele Metal Bands haben auch „Blind Fury“ einen gewissen Kult Faktor, rein Song-Technisch haut mich „Out of Reach“ aber wirklich nicht aus den Schuhen. „Contact Rock n Roll“ gefällt mir ziemlich gut, ein ziemlich netter Refrain. Gehen wir doch genauer auf den Rest der Tracks ein. „Living on the Edge“ find ich schrecklich, der Chorus ist so etwas von mittelmässig, klar das Solo ist gelungen, ansonsten gibt mir dieser Titel absolut nichts. „Dynamo“ ist erneut 08/15, da kann ich meine Miene verziehen, sorry. Nebst dem Kult Faktor sind diese „Blind Fury“ absolut nicht mein Fall, es kann sein das sie einem Hardcore 80er NWOBHM Fan gefallen, für mich ist das leider nichts. Musikalisch sind die Jungs wie gesagt „gut“ und ein gewissen Potential hört man heraus, für „Out of Reach“ haben sie es aber leider noch nicht ausgespielt.

"Blind Fury's" Out of Reach” appeared actually in the year 1984, thus exact before 20 years and receives now a second chance a buyer to find. Here completely clearly Heavy Metal is capitalized, such with many plates. The Cover I find still completely successfully, if one looks at oneself then however the photos in the inside Booklet, actually makes the smile on myface becoming brighter.Who cares ..hey that the 80's was and there one was allowed to dress in such way. I can make friends myself with the Songquality unfortunately not completely, "DO it Loud" the Opener sound myself completely nicely, but he strikes me just as little around as the title TRACK "Out OF Reach". I do not have to also confess "Lou Taylor's" singing to me do not please, well actually typical Vocals for at that time of volume like "The Ruffians" or "Omen" fit however here to me. The techincal site can not be criticize, reef and Soli there literally fly one around the ears. Like so many Metalbands also "Blind Fury" have a certain cult factor, purely Song technical strikes me "Out OF Reach" not really . "Contact Rock n roll" pleases me rather well, a rather nice Chorsu. We deal nevertheless more exactly with the remainder of the TRACKS. "Living on the Edge" terribleto me, the Chorus is such a thing by moderate, clearly the solo succeeded, otherwise this title “Dynamo” is just another old Metal-Song. No matter if “Blind Fury” is an so caled Cult-Band, I thinck they don´t rock enough. Maybe an Die-Hard NWOBMH-Fan would love this CD, all others take care, check before buying
