English Version:
Hardcore fans attented, the Dans of „Barcode“ presents us with „Showdown“ their fourth longplayer and impact like a hard controlled punch into the face! No stranger stands on the machine gun guitar, the most of you know „Dr. J.“ of his mainband „Hatesphere“. Well, what has this band to do with metal? Actual very much, indeed „Showdown“ is hardcore, but you hear out extraordinary strong thrash and speed metal elements. Well, the opener „Shots Out“ may sound embedded typical hardcore yet, so pretend songs like the titletrack „Showdown“ or „No Lust for Life“ with typical thrash riffs. The unslamed power, which get drawned from the first to the last of the 16 titles pleases me extraordinary well. Nevertheless, I’m no fan of such music, but this longplayer beats real on the bells. By the way, the length of the songs is typical hardcore, which varies between two or three minutes. Play first tips are under different the ratsharp „Bad Standing“ and the pretending „Accept“ cover „I’m A Rebel“. Already, who always wanted know how Accept sound on hardcore acid, who truly shouldn’t let this escape. Result: „Showdown“ that’s raw violence, that’s aggression, that’s power, packed into hardcore songs with an energetic thrash/speed touch. This disc could find rapture at thrash freaks too, next to hardcore and Hatesphere fans. (Translation by Dominic)
