Balance of Power - When The World Falls Down

Wer sagt, dass Engländer keine gute Musik machen, der Irrt sich gewaltig. Balance Of Power konnten sich gut in die Rockszene eingliedern. Als ich sie das erste Mal Live gesehen hatte, war ich total überrascht und hab mir sofort ihr Debüt-Album „When The World Falls Down“ gekauft, dass sie 1997 heraus brachten. Balance of Power wurde vom Keyboarder Ivan Gunn 1995 gegründet mit einer handvoll bekannter Rocker aus London. Sie wurden sehr schnell in Japan bekannt und mittlerweile dürften sie auch weltweit sehr gute Resonanzen hervor weisen. Das Line-Up für dieses Album wies Tony Ritchie (Sänger), Paul Curtis (Gitarre), Ivan Gunn (Keyboard), Bill Yates (Gitarre), Chris Dale (bass) und Lionel Hicks (Schlagzeug) aus. Das ganze Album ist von vorne bis hinten total melodisch und zieht jeden Melodikfan nur so mit sich mit. Das Album beweist Stärke, Power und Vitalität. Schon allein beim ersten Durchlauf lässt sich ein Ohrwurm heraushören „Overnight Sensation“. Bei einigen Songs merkt man die totale Kraft und Energie, die die Jungs an Ihre Instrumente stellen. Die Frische und Kreativität spürt man bei diesen Songs so richtig heraus. Dass kann man sehr gut bei den Songs „Against The Odds“, „Can´t Close The Book“, „Hide Your Heart“, „Balance Of Power“, „Something For Your Head“, „The Real Thing (Carry On Dreaming)“ und „Summers Over“ feststellen. Etwas ruhiger geht’s dann bei „Don´t Wait Until Tomorrow“, „When Love Is On Your Side“ und „These Are The Days“ weiter. Ihr Einfallsreichtum und hervorragende zur Schaustellung oder Vereinigung von Lyric und Musik, muss ich hier einfach mal erwähnen. Persönlich kann ich jedem diese CD richtig ans Herz legen. Ein besonderer Bonus hierbei ist der Video-Clip.

Who says, that english don´t make good music is really mistaken. Balance of Power could integrate themselves well into the rockscene. When i saw them the first time, i was really surprised and bought me quickly their Debut-Album „When The World Falls Down“ that they released in 1997. They get really fast famous in Japan and in the meantime also worldwide with very good resonances out. The freshness and creativity you feel at these songs. A bit slowlier it goes on with „Don´t Wait Until Tomorrow“, „When Love Is On Your Side“ and „These Are The Days“. I simply must your imaginativeness mention and jutting out for the show position or union of Lyric and music, here. Personally i can recommend everybody this CD to the heart.
