Bai Bang - Ridin´High

Bai Bang- Eine der meist powervollen Rock Akts von Schweden – kennzeichnen fünf talentierte und dynamische Rockers mit Namen Diddi Kastenholt (Gesang), Pelle Eliaz (Lead-Gitarre), Joacim Sandin (Bassist), Jonas Langebro (Schlagzeug) und Tony Rohtla (Gitarre). Seit die Band Bai Bang vor einigen Jahren begann, haben die Mitglieder viel Zeit zusammen auf ihren Touren überall in Europa, Kanada, Japan und USA verbracht. Ihr neues Video (Welcome to the Real World) ist released und ist in ein paar Fernsehkanälen gezeigt worden. Zwischen den Touren von Bai Bang schreiben sie jetzt an Songs für Ihr 5tes neues Album. Im Herbst 1999 machte Bai Bang eine Tour in Skandinavien mit UNION (Bruce Kulick X-Kiss, John Corabi X-Mötley, Jamie Hunting und Brent Fitz), dass als ein riesiger Erfolg betrachtet wurde. Sie tourten von 2000 auf Festivals wie Sweden Rock, vielen Club Shows und Festivals in Skandinavien. Ab 2001 führten Bai Bang fort und zeigte den Metal-Liebhabern was für ein Hardrock Akt sie sind. Das meiner Meinung nach gebührend erwähnt werden muss. Sie haben bis heute nicht aufgehört und touren zur Zeit, besser gesagt ab Oktober 2004 für zwei Wochen in Deutschland und Italien. Hier möchte ich deshalb ihr 4tes Album „Ridin´High“ hervorbringen. Herausgebracht 1999 ohne Pelle Eliaz und Tony Rohtla, der frühere Gitarrist war Birch, der die Band aber verließ. Ihr Opener „Nice Face“ lässt schon die richtige Stimmung aufkommen. Mit richtig guten Riffen, knallhart gespickt mit gleichbleibenden Bassklängen und aufregenden Trommelschlägen. Mit dem gleichbetitelten Song „Ridin´High“ des Albums schreiten sie, die etwas melodiöseren Klänge an, aber trotzdem noch kräftig genug. Dann kommt eine Halb-Ballade, der Song „Only The Strong“. Sehr klare weinende Gitarren am Anfang, eine wunderschöne anklagende Stimme und einen schönen Chorus. Der Oberhammersong für mich persönlich „I Want It“. Sehr schöne hüpfende Klänge aus einer Mischung von Gitarrriffen, Beat und super Rhythmus wie man sie bei Swedish Erotica, Treat Genren gewohnt ist. Ist so ein richtig guter Ohrwurm und kann immer wieder gehört werden. Tolle Leistung!!! Aber auch die schöne Ballade „Little Child“ bringt Diddis Stimme klar hervor und der Song erinnert stark an Poisons Every Rose has it´s Thorne. Dann geht’s volle Pulle weiter mit dem Party Song „Lay Down“. Der Cover Version „Raise Your Fist“ von Ole Evenrude bekannt, der ja auch bekanntlich aus Schweden kommt. Mit „Get Off“ steigen sie total auf. Schlägt ein wie eine Bombe. Auch „Closer to You“ , „Hideaway“ und „F.O.F.D“ verdienen gute Punkte. Schöne eingängige Choruse und Vollpower-Rockmusik. Der krönende Abschluss des Albums „Should I Stay or should I Go“. Ganz klar Jungs ihr müsst bleiben und nicht gehen! Weiter So! Rock Rulzes!

BAI BANG - one of the most powerful rock acts from Sweden - features five talented and dynamic rockers called Diddi Kastenholt (vocals), Pelle Eliaz (Leadguitar), Joacim Sandin (Bass), Jonas Langebro (Drums) and Tony Rohtla (guitar). Since the band started some years ago the Bai Bang - members have spent a lot of time together on their tours all over Europe, Canada, Japan and USA. The new video „Welcome to the real world“ is released and has been showed in a couple of TV-channels. In between tours BB are currently writing new songs for the 5th upcoming album. In late 1999 Bai Bang made a tour in Scandinavia with UNION (Bruce Kulick x-Kiss, John Corabi x-Mötley, Jamie Hunting and Brent Fitz) that was considered a huge success. They toured from 2000 on festivals like Sweden Rock, many Club shows and festivals in Scandinavia. In 2001 the band continued to show the Metal lovers what a hardrockin' act they are. This must be mentioned duly in my opinion. They didn´t stopped touring the time and still tours at the moment. They make some shows from October for two weeks in Germany and Italy. Therefore I want to introduce their 4th album „Ridin´High“ here. In 1999 they released this album without Pelle Eliaz and Tony Rohtla, the former guitarist was Birch but he left the band. The Opener „Nice Face“ lets already the right atmosphere arise. Larded with really good reefs brutally with constant bass sounds and exciting drum beats. With the same entitled song „Ridin´High“ of the album they stride at more melodious sounds, but nevertheless still invigorate enough. Then comes the half-ballade „“Only The Strong“. Very clear crying guitars in the beginning, a lovely accusing voice and one beautiful chorus. My personal favourite song is „I Want it“. Very nice hopping sounds from a mixture of guitar-riffs, beat an a great rhythm like swedish Erotica, Treat gene we are used to. Such a really good earwig is and can be listened to again and again. Terrific performance! The beautiful ballad „Littele Child“ also produces Diddis voice clearly and the song reminds strongly of Poisons Every Rose has it´s thorne. With full throttle it goes on with this party song „Lay Down“. The Cover song „Raise Your Fist“ confessed this one comes from Sweden also as is well known from Ole Evenrude. With „Get Off“ they totally arise. Strikes like a bomb. Also „Closer to You“, „Hideaway“ and „F.O.F.D“ deserve some good points. Beautiful catchy chorus and full energy Rockmusic. The crowning conclusion of the album „Should I Stay or should i go“. You must quite clearly stay guys and go on! Go Ahead! Rock Rulzes!
