I would say this band should come out in the 80s. They would have attained a deal certainly faster then. So it´s no wonder when Amsterdam who came from the westcoast of america....lets say with a pitiful album and for sure a re-publication take what they get. It´s their third self-titled album of the quintet. It was recorded somehow in the beginning of the 90s and Metal Mayhem seems to believe that this would working in 2001 too. I would rather say to the wrong time at the wrong place! The songs are quite clear from the time, were colored and sloping gear and hairspray style was „In“. They offer quite pleasant Glamrock where occurs to me as the first Danger Danger. Could lay also a little bit on the singer who looks like Ted Poley on the photo. The quicker songs are „Can´t Hide“, „I´m Blind“ and „Head High“ goes loosely from the tongue. Nice listened songs are „You Show Me“, „Sex Emotion“, „Cannibalistic Love“ and „Get Off“. All of them have a pleasant chorus and an easy refrain.
The music change from stupid bongos, to light acoustics guitars and to be honest behind this is no pepper. Actually quite a pity, they could made more of the songs. „Mine All Mine“, „Infatuation“ and „Love Me When You´re Lonely“ you can listen but not more. The last song „I´m Alright“ is totally placed wrong here. Firstly, he has similarity to Skid Row, is too fast and doesn't match absolutely for the other pieces. As an awake doer incredibly but as the last song extremely unsuitable. My assessment therefore turns out also only mediocre. Form your own opinion!
