Former Guardian singer Jaime Rowe reports back with a new band called Adrian Gale. Their first Album „Feel The Fire“ is in the contrast to Guardian throwing into more AOR and Melodicrock Corner. Jaime also get an offer from Ratt to be there Frontman but he says no. He also made in the 80s an Album with Tempest. Now he made again a good record together with his comrade-in-arms Vic Rivera (guitar/drums), Eddie Campbell (guitar) and Todd Goldie (bass). That Vic Rivera also is a great songwriter you can hear on the songs too. The music style is just good old Partyrock like Firehouse, Harem Scarem and Dokken. Songs like „Feel The Fire“, „Giving It Up“ and „Mission Man“ are a mixture of a bit blues, catchy rockparts and the really sensitive voice from Jaime. „Save Our Love“ and „Easy Come Easy Go“ are two fantastic songs and get a special place to me. Great sing-song melodies, replete guitars drawn against each other with powerful bass, full underlined by the soft sound of the drums. The two ballads „If The Sun“ und „Just Let Me Love You“ let everything fade away a little. The Song „Reap What You Sow“ keeps the album fluently. Not really good, but also not bad. Whats totally wrong here again is the song „Honey Child“. Much accoustic guitar and belongs more in the Countryrock area. A cover of Aerosmith´s „Walkin´The Dog“ closes the album out. It´s just an okay album, not more.
