Treat: Neues Album bei Frontiers Records
Frontiers Records veröffentlicht brandneues TREAT Album“Coup De Grace” soll das Meisterwerk heißen und genau 25 Jahre nach dem Release des Debuts am 19. März 2010 erscheinen. Mit Classic Rock Songperlen geprägt von gewaltigen Gitarren, kraftvollen Melodien und großen Hooklines, wird die Platte den Nerv jedes Melodic Rock Jüngers zielgenau treffen. Die Produktion vereint gekonnt den damaligen Sound mit dem der aktuellen Zeit.
Die Songs auf “Coup De Grace” sind sehr viel mehr als nur grandiose RocknRoll Songs, hinter dem Material verbergen sich könnte man sagen kleine Autobiografien der fünf gestandenen Musiker die auf ihr Leben zurückblicken.
“This album is a statement of who we are today, explains Anders Wikström. We’re older… yeah, perhaps even wiser. We look at our lives and the world around us in a different way. I wanted to reflect that in our lyrics. I mean, we’re all fathers and we raise our kids in a world that’s in a turmoil. There’s a lot of pressures, fears and tough expectations. The rat race is spinning out of control, but everybody expect you to be happy.” erklärt Anders Wikström.
In 2006 reformierte sich die Band und veröffentlichte ein Compliation Album, eine Tour folgte. Doch erst in 2008 war klar ein neues Album muss her.
Produziert wurde “Coup de Grace” von Anders Wikström und teils zusammen mit Keyboarder Patrick Appelgren.
