Als mir die schöne Pink Snow das neuste Exemplar von "Porn Again" schickte, war ich doch sehr gespannt ob sich ausser einer sexistischen Show noch mehr hinter "Erocktica" verbirgt..und siehe da, auch die Musik ist klasse.
Ich habe bei Pink Snow über die Shows, die Musik und andere interessante Sachen nachgefragt und was dabei heraus gekommen ist, könnt ihr hier nachlesen.

Dein Album „Porn Again“ ist ein Sleazy Rock n Roll Album mit guten Melodien, bist du bis jetzt mit den Verkäufen zu frieden?
Nein, wir haben leider keinen Vertrieb für unser Album, darum kennen natürlich nicht genug Leute die Platte. Hey Record Labels in Europa, wir brauchen euch um unser Sex und Rock n Roll Album zu verkaufen, meldet euch !!!!!
Auf dem Album hat es eigentlich nur „Porno Lyrics“, ist das einfach fun oder wieso NUR Sex Lyrics?
Die Musik und die Texte gehören zusammen: Erocktica = Porno und Rock
Ich habe viele Bilder auf deiner Webseite von Live Shows gesehen, was erwartet mich wenn ich an einen Erocktica Gig gehe?
Die Show beinhaltet einen „Sexual Twyster“, einen „Cream Fight“ zwischen den Girls, Striptease, oder das „Wheel of Passion“. Das werden nur einige Dinge sein, welche du zu sehen bekommst, der Soundtrack dazu werden sein: „Porn Star“, „Naked“ oder „Size Queen“. Der Zuschauer wird aber auch aktiv ins Geschehen mit einbezogen werden. Man weis eigentlich nie welche Sachen bei einer Show so passieren können. Der Schauplatz kann auch ändern, also in einem Rock n Roll Konzert, ein Theater oder ein Lounge bei in einem Raum eines Gentlemen Klubs.
Ich finde die Musik alleine ist eigentlich schon gut, wieso dieses Attitude?
Ich mag Freiheit, Sexualität und Rock n Roll alles in einem
Dein Song „38D“ hört sich fast so an wie Krokus mit „Eat the Rich“, ich mag aber die Erocktica Version.
Cool, ich habe den Song noch nie gehört, werde das aber mit Sicherheit bald mal machen.

Erzähl mir Einbisschen aus dem Leben von „Pink Snow“
Ich bin als Teenager nach Los Angeles, Kalifornien gegangen um den glamourösen Touch des Rock n Roll Leben zu spüren. Ich habe damals als Cocktailkellnerin im weltberühmten Whiskey a Gogo, gearbeitet und schnell Freunde in der Musiker Szene der späten 80er gefunden. Ich war schockiert wie viel Spass man in dieser Szene haben konnte. Dann bin ich in die Sex Industrie eingetreten und Pink Snow arbeitete als Exotic Tänzerin überall in den USA. Später ging das böse Mädchen zurück und passte sich wieder der Gesellschaft ein und machte eine Ausbildung (Die Katholische Schule hat mich rebellisch gemacht)
Ich ging also von Limousinen und Partys zurück zu Privat Schulen in New York City. Ich besuchte das Sarah Lawrence College um Theater und Musik zu studieren, dort lerne ich wie man sich auf der Bühne bewegen muss. In London habe ich sogar in einem Shakespeare Stück mitgewirkt. Als ich wieder Zurück in New York war, begann wieder das Rock n Roll Leben und so entstand: Erocktica !!!

Du bist ja auch schon zusammen mit CC Deville von Poison aufgetreten?
Ja, CC war immer ein Idol von mir seid ich Poison kenne, er war damals mit seiner Band Samantha 7 in New York und wir haben eine Show zusammen gemacht, die verdammt viel Spaß machte.
Die USA sind nicht gerade ein Land das viel Verständnis für Erotic Shows haben denke ich, gab es da schon Probleme mit der der Polizei?
Ja, wir sind schon aus Clubs geflogen, wurden aufgefordert uns Oben zu bedecken und wurde einmal fast überfallen.
Ihr seid ja in diesem Jahr auf Europa Tour gewesen, erzähle mit doch bitte etwas über die Reaktionen in den verschiedenen Ländern.
10 Wochen – 8 Länder. Es war ein Rock n Roll Traum für mich. Die Welt zu sehen, Leute treffen und Musik machen ist mein Leben und mein Traum. Finnland, Spanien, Deutschland, Schweiz, Italien, Belgien, jedes Land hat so eigene Leute und sie gehen ziemlich ab.
Du hast mir gesagt ihr werden sehr bald wieder in Europa spielen?
Ja im November werden wir in: Italien, Finnland, Tschechien, Schweden und auch in der Schweiz spielen !!!

Was hat sich in deinem Leben geändert seid du dein eigenes Ding mit Erocktica durchziehst?
My self Image. Es sind schon Frauen zu mir gekommen nach einer Show und haben gesagt, ich hätte ihr Leben verändert. Ich bin davon überzeugt, weil ich glaube ich kann die Welt verändern, so das Sex und Rock n Roll einfach normal werden im heutigen Leben.
Das Internet kann sehr gut als Plattform für einen Künstler dienen, bist du selber ein Online Junkie oder interessiert dich das Web nicht?
Nein, ich finde das Web ist eine großartige Sache, aber ich bin nicht so verbissen wie einige meiner Freunde.
Was macht Pink Snow wenn sie nicht gerade schöne Fotos macht oder Musik, Hobbies?
Tanzen, Fitness, Kickboxen, Unterwasseratemgerättauchen in den Karibischen Meeren und ich schau mir große Rock Konzerte an. Ich gehöre auch einer liberalistischen Feministinnen-Gruppe an, für Frauen gegen Zensur und für Freiheit von Sexualität. .

saw many live pics on your website, what’s going on when I come to a Erocktica Show? Its not : only rock n roll but I like it, its what?
The show features as sexual Twister, a whipped cream fight between the girls, a sensual strip tease, or possibly a spinning of the “the wheel of passion.” These are just some the of things you may see, while hearing a soundtrack of original rock anthems such as "Porn Star," "Naked," or "Size Queen” played by the band. The exciting feature of the show is the audience interaction that takes place and the sexual exploitations that may occur. Left in a mystery to be unveiled, it is never certain just how far the “show” will go. The venue can be quickly transformed into a cross between a rock and roll concert, a burlesque theater and the champagne room in a gentlemen's club.
I think your music is great, why the sexual attitude?
I feel freedom and sexuality and rock n Roll all go together!

Tell me a little bit from the life of Pink Snow:
I went to Los Angeles, California, thirsty for a taste of the glamorous rock and roll life as a teenager.
Working as a cocktail waitress at the world famous Whiskey A Go Go, I quickly became close friends with some of the hottest rock stars of the late 80’s LA music scene. I was in shock how much fun the rock a life in rock and roll was!
I entered into the adult sex industry, Pink Snow traveled as a feature exotic dancer around the US and began shooting nationally for publications.
Later I felt the pressures of a good girl gone bad, (too much Catholic school made me rebel) and went back to get an education and function in polite society. I went from limousines and parties to private school drama major in New York City. I attended the prestigious New York once all girls school Sarah Lawrence College to study theater and music. I earned a full scholarship to study the dramatic works of Shakespeare in London at Thames University and performed internationally on the classical stage. Upon return to New York however, I was again drawn to the wild life of sex and rock and roll, and started Erocktica!

Late in 2000
I saw on your site, you had play together with Poison Guitarist CC Deville? Please tell me about
CC has been an idol of mine since Poison, and we did a show together in NY with his side band Samantha 7. We had fun on stage together!
USA is not a good Country for Sex, did you ever have problems with the system, the police?
Yes, we have been banned from clubs, told to cover up, and once almost raided. But we got out in time!
You was on European tour this year, please tell me about this tour and the different countries and the reactions
10 weeks! 8 countries! It was a rock n Roll dream. To see the world and meet people playing music is my dream. Finland, Estonia,Sweden,Italy,Belgium,Germany,Spain,Switzerland...Each country had it's own unique people and crazy rock crowds!
You told me, the next Europe tour is near?
We are back to Europe in November! Only for 1 month-we go to Italy Finland and Sweden Czech, AND Switzerland!

What has changed in your life since you've been doing music with Erocktica?
My self image. I have had women come up to me at shows and say I have changed their lives to help them feel better about their bodies and become for confident. I am so confident now because I feel I have changed the world to make it better with sexuality and rock n roll.
the Internet is very practical for promotion and all that other Stuff. Are you an online junkie by yourself or aren't you interested in the net at all?
Neither. I think the web is great, but I am not addicted like some of my friends.
actually, what are you doing in your life when you're not doing Any music or make nice fotos. Hobbies?
Dance,Fitness,Kickboxing, Acting, Scuba diving in the Caribbean, and going to great rock shows! I also am part of a libertarian feminists group for women against censorship and for freedom of sexuality. Soon I will also launch Pinksnow.com so stay tuned!
