"Annie Michaels" ist eine neue Künstlerin aus Spanien, (die auch in den USA für Furore sorgt)und konnte mich mit ihrer Stimme in den Bann ziehen. "Annie's" Musik ist stark von "Poison" beeinflusst und dass sie auf Glam und Sleaze Bands steht, hört man den Songs an. Auf der Homepage von "Annie" könnt ihr euch ein paar Songs anhören, die Demo CD wird in Kürze reviewt, leider hat "Miss Michaels" mit der Scheibe noch auf sich warten lassen. Aus zeitlichen Gründen gibt es für einmal keine Deutsche Uebersetzung, mir sei verziehen.

Hi Annie. Thanks for your time for this interview. First of all introduce your band to our readers or do you have only studio musicians?
Hello Vince and all Sleazy Metal people! I'm Annie Michaels from Hellfire Club and our music style is Hard Rock Sleazy Glam Rock. On the drums is Robin Dick, on guitars is Sleazy and on bass Mark. We are together for 2 years and the music you can listen on the demo is what we do, I mean there are not other people recording with us, just we giving to people what we love.
congratulations to your new demo, I have to confess that this record really impressed me much. How do you like it yourself?
Thank You! I'm glad you liked it. We worked long hours on studio and we think we had a good one. People that listened told us they liked the songs and well you can see it on our shows.we will never forget the day we started to promote our new demo and there were front of us, on front row, guys shaking heads, screaming and trying to jump onstage. Then after the show they asked us for guitar picks, drumsticks..we really had a great night. we think we did a good job with this demo and on our shows, personally I think is a good demo, we wanted to sound fresh but a little bit from the 80`s. but if you want to listen them, better go to our shows because there you'll see the energy.
Can we have a short look at the things that "Annie Michaels" have done so far?
I'm into music world since I was 14, singing on different bands, but never found he right one. I recorded several times on different studios some covers from LA GUNS, POISON, STRYPER..I always liked to be into the studios and being singing and playing music and also write and compose my own songs. I recorded a full 10 own songs cd with studio musicians, but was another looong story hehe. I learned to play guitar, drums, piano and waiting to lean to play bass and harmonica, if there's any teacher, call me!!
Have read any reviews about the CD so far? And are you satisfied with the reactions so far?
Yeah, I read some reviews from some different people and they liked, is true! Of course there are always some people that wants this other kind of sound, but every one have their own opinion. But I read some reviews from the shows we did or I did and I liked them, we received good critics, then IS GOOD! Thank you people I LOVE YOU!
Why you decide to play such kind of cool 80's Hard Rock and not some Up-To-Date-Stuff?
Well this is the music we always listened although we didn't lived on this 80s era. This songs are from inside, this is what we feel. We don't sit down and say: "well this is the kind of music its on the top ten, we have to do that" no, we walk into the rehearsal room, took our guitars and start to play, and if a song looks cool, we star to work on it. We don't pretend 100% to be a commercial band and win lots of awards, we play the music we like and have fun. We played lot of times and no money back but we had a really really great time, because our biggest award is that people supporting us and going to our shows and having fun with us.
Who are your influences? And fave bands?
Poison is my big influence. I also like all hard rock sleazy, glam ..bands. But I also like other kind of music like Country Rock, Blues.is a long list but be sure that when a band, music or song is good, Ill like it.
What is your aim to play in a band?
express myself, have fun, do what I always wanted to do, show to people our stories on our songs.I always dreamed to be singing on a band, playing on clubs.now I'm starting to get this dream and is GREAT, if you are into a band, you'll know what I mean, the sensation when people tells you they love your songs and is going to your shows..

80`s sex, drugs and rnr.what a paradise, hehehe. Like I told you before we didn't lived this era, because we are 23 years old, but when we seen on videos from the 80`s, all the people, the shows, clothes.is great! right now is crazy too, but is little bit different, anyways SEX DRUGS AND RNR!!!!!!

Headbangers Ball was a good TV program, I missed all the shows because here in Spain we don't have this channel, but I have some interviews that Vanessa did and I liked it ..

Lot of energy, having fun, rnr, is a big party..and If I start with a jacket, vest and shirt, I finished the show only with the shirt and pants on.so, guys, come to the first row hehe
Let me know with such kind of bands you have played together so far, any others cool Rockers out there in the USA?
We opened for Steven Adler band, they are great. We had to open for Gluecifer but the show cancelled. I opened for Eric Singer, Bruce kulick, John Corabi, Chuck Garrick when they played on the city.Right now we are waiting for a dates to open for Steven Adler (again), Doro, Sebastian Bach, Thin Lizzy..so we will say the dates and stuff on our websites.
